Caroline Bernard has a Doctorate in Esthetics, Sciences and the Technologies of the Arts, with a major in plastic arts and photography from the University of Paris VIII. Bernard is a member of the Viral Design research team, a Professor at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles, and an Associate Professor at the École des Arts Visuels et Médiatiques (EAVM) at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM, CA).
