Former head of the Visual Communication Department at the Haute Ecole d’Art et de Design (HEAD-Genève) in Geneva, Switzerland. Baratelli regularly participates in R&D and CTI projects in which he pursues his examination of the use of screen interfaces, ergonomic work methods and their adaptation for different categories of users. Projects include: AGPE (2006), RCDAV (2006–2009), Concierge Mobile (2007), Global Warning (2009), KM4MK and CTI ergonomics projects (2011), GAVI, a CTI project to create geolocalization access to information on museum works (2012), Panorama (2013 and 2015), the RCDAV Project, compiling a digital archive of Swiss graphic design from 1964 to 2014; Citoyens, Mitoyens (2016), a CTI project on the place of the other in the city, such as the Rom community. A “serious game” to challenge stereotypes of Roms.

A regular collaborator of Haute Ecole d’Art et de Design (HEAD-Gèneve), Bernard is also a Professor at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles where she is in charge of the research lab Prospectives de l’Image. An Associate Professor of the Ecole des Arts Visuels et Médiatiques (EAVM) at the University of Quebec, Montreal (UQAM, CA), she holds a Bachelor’s in Visual Communication, a Masters in New Media, and a Doctorate from the University of Paris 8 in the Esthetics, Sciences and Technologies of the Arts, specializing in Art and Photography. She collaborated with the Think Tank Theatre in Geneva for three years. An author for the program Le Labo on Espace 2 (RTS), Bernard directs the Chemins de Traverse (“Crossroads”) Lab, a transdisciplinary program that offers an unprecedented perspective on contemporary world and society issues.

Former HES assistant in the Visual Communications Department of HEAD–Genève, Brand participated in several research projects concerning new media. She holds a diploma in New Web Technologies from the University of Geneva (2009), and a Masters in Media Design from HEAD–Genève (2015).

Guichard is a graphic designer who taught at the Vevey School of Photography from 2007 to 2009. He has also collaborated in research projects with the Haute Ecole d’Art et de Design (HEAD–Gèneve). As part of HEAD’s Global Warning research project, Guichard designed the fictitious banknotes for the defense of the Rom people. He works regularly with Caroline Bernard under the label Lili range le chat. Their main focus is on new forms of writing and cinema that have emerged as a result of online images and shared videos.

Basile Le Cleac’h is a Masters student at the Ecole Nationale de la Photographie in Arles who specializes in the technical aspects of images. Formerly an Assistant at the Bleu du Ciel Gallery in Lyon, he has worked for several years as a photographer in an advertising agency. He participated in the creation of images for the colloquium To Buzz or Not to Buzz: A Look at Virality (March 14, 2019, HEAD-Genève).

Formerly part of the Visual Communication group at HEAD–Genève, Mabilat holds a diploma in Multimedia Design from the program at Les Gobelins Ecole de l’Image in Paris, and a Masters in Media Design from HEAD–Genève (2014).

Neves has over twenty-one years of professional experience in Graphic and New Media Design. He works in Europe and Brazil and co-founded SEVEN design, a virtual design and public relations studio based in Geneva and Sao Paulo which specializes in brand identity strategy and e-reputation. Over the last few years, Heder has increasingly focused upon ethical design and the development of his digital skills. He has joined forces with Caroline Bernard and Damien Guichard, sharing his skills as an expert in digital design in a series of workshops at HEAD–Genève and has also worked for several NGOs and the private sector.
